Organized and joined internal/external events
At work, I'm more than a designer. I'm also an event organizer, a dance instructor, a presenter, a speaker, a workshop facilitator...
I was invited to present BUILD at SF Design Week during SAP in 2018.
I was also the dance instructor for the "Dance with Wenjing" session. I taught the team some basic movements of house dance.
I was the organizer and facilitator for the team's design review session. I defined the code of execution and methods for the ritual. I prepared the starter documentation and templates for presenters. The team loves the internal design review, and it has become one of the most successful rituals.
I was one of the speakers for "Girls who code" events in SAP.io. I shared user experience design with high school girls and helped them to create their first prototype using BUILD.
I was the organizer of our team week for 2016. I was responsible for defining various events, scheduling appointments, and inviting speakers.
I was the primary host and actress of our annual team videos. I played two separate TV reporters in order to share our accomplishments.
I was the presenter of SAP internal design gathering session, sharing our team experience in surviving without a full-time researcher.
